In 2014 Howard Stern turned 60 years old and to celebrate his staff threw him a “Birthday Bash”.  It was a star studded event with Oscar level guests.  Everyone from Bryan Cranston, Robert Downey Jr., Barbara Walters and even New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were in the audience .  Joan Rivers and comedian Jeff Ross performed a mini roast on Stern and show sidekick, Robin Quivers and there were many video tributes from Metallica’s James Hetfield , Paul McCartney and former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, just to name a few.  The celebrity list goes on and on …

But the standout moments of the night were the amazing musical acts. With performances like Jon Bon Jovi singing Dead or Alive, Dave Grohl singing Everlong followed by My Hero and Steven Tyler singing Dream On.  The evening concluded with Slash and Dave Grohl backing up Steven Tyler and Train for a killer version of Walk This Way.  This certainly was a night to remember

This brings us to my favorite moment of the night and JB’s Cover Song of the Week …  Adam Levine playing guitar and singing Purple Rain accompanied by Train front-man Pat Monahan.
