If you’re an iPhone owner and you have a distaste for change, you may want to consider not upgrading to iOS 7 come the next major update.

Daring Fireball’s John Gruber, Apple writer and enthusiast reports that Apple employees, with ‘carry privileges’, using the newest iOS are using a special polarized screen on their device which prevents unwanted eyes from seeing the screen and what Gruber calls a “rather significant system-wide UI overhaul”.

[iOS 7 is] apparently making many people really happy, but will also apparently make rich-texture-loving designers sad.

The public may get a glimpse of iOS 7 at the annual WWDC later this summer.
